Plano, Texas, law firm seeks a Commercial litigation attorney for a full-time hybrid role. Insurance defense attorneys are welcome to apply. The law firm serves construction industry stakeholders, including developers, owners, general contractors, subcontractors, engineers, architects, suppliers, sureties, and lenders. The firm prides itself on being at the forefront of handling a diverse range of cases.

As a critical team member, you would be pivotal in representing clients across various litigation scenarios, including construction disputes, surety matters, bankruptcy, and general business and commercial litigation. The firm understands that transitioning into different practice areas may involve a learning curve. They provide comprehensive mentoring to help you enhance your expertise.

This is a hybrid position. Monday & Friday remote. Tue, Wed, and Thurs in person.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school and Texas State Bar admission
• 1+ years of experience in defense litigation
• Excellent analytical, communication, and writing skills
• Strong attention to detail with an ability to prioritize and manage expectations
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues
