About the Position
In the Corporate Law group for business clients, you would advise closely held companies, merchants, banks, agricultural enterprises, and entrepreneurs, handling a wide variety of matters, including the creation of businesses, purchases and sales, mergers and acquisitions, contracts and agreements of all types, leasing, lending or borrowing, tax matters, and dissolution. As an Employment Law attorney, work focuses on representing clients in various labor and employment law issues, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage-hour issues. You would advise companies concerning day-to-day employee relations issues, employment agreements, and legal compliance. Enjoy working with companies of all sizes in a variety of industries in virtually every aspect of the employer-employee relationship to create and implement preventative strategies and practices to avoid liability and costly litigation.
Corporate and Employment Law (non-litigation) experience in Florida is required.
