Divorce law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join the team. You will represent clients in family law legal proceedings, litigation, court hearings, and advise clients as to optimal course of action. The successful candidate is driven by protecting the client and understands when to litigate and when to settle. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years’ family law experience and a current New Jersey Bar license.

Responsibilities:

• Drafting motions and briefs
• Arguing motions
• Helping clients with family law matters
• Court appearances
• Family matter case management (Early Settlement Panels, Mediation, Discovery management, etc.)

Qualifications:

• Compassionate and aggressive
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Courtroom experience
• Organized with a high work ethic
• A sense of humor is required

Requirements:

• New Jersey Bar License
• 5+ years of solid Family Law litigation experience
• Trial experience desired
• Solid employment references and work history
