Our client, an insurance coverage law firm near San Diego (Temecula), California, is seeking a senior associate / of counsel with 4+ years of experience litigating complex insurance claims. The successful candidate is also meticulous, focused, and detail-oriented and ensures that all stakeholders and clients are kept apprised of critical matters. The annual salary is based on experience and includes a significant non-discretionary performance-based bonus.

Compensation for the Senior Associate position is comprised of a base salary plus a billable hour or a percentage of collections bonus. The estimated total compensation for this role can be upwards of $250K.

Hybrid available based on demonstrated ability, but not fully remote.

Requirements

• Current admission to the California Bar, in good standing.
• Significant State or Federal court litigation experience, including drafting pleadings, taking depositions and motions practice.
• 4+ years of experience litigating complex insurance claims.
• High intelligence, problem solving abilities and creativity.
• Flexibility to work in a highly collaborative team environment.
• Strong organization, time management, project management and matter management skills.
• Firm clients are located nationally. Travel would be required for litigation work.
