Real Estate Attorney

Law firm in Sarasota, Florida, seeks experienced transactional real estate attorney. For this role, the ideal candidate has between 3-6 years of experience in real estate transactions, including:

• commercial transactions (e.g., drafting and negotiating commercial real estate purchase agreements, commercial leases, easement agreements, option agreements)
• title experience (i.e., reviewing title commitments, clearing mortgages and other liens and encumbrances; supervising closers/paralegals in preparing Settlement Statements and the closing process; and
• it would be a ‘plus’ if the candidate has experience with any one or more of the following:  (i) basic corporate drafting (Operating Agreements, buyout of partnership interests); (ii) 1031 exchanges; and (iii) condominiums, in particular, representing condo developers in preparing and/or filing condo documents).

The Firm is willing to train but needs an attorney with some basic real estate law and corporate experience.
