Join a Miami area law firm as an Associate Attorney in insurance defense litigation. Work onsite/hybrid for this national law firm’s location in Miramar, Florida, that is expanding rapidly. Get on the ground floor with exciting case management and trial opportunities. The firm is seeking a talented lawyer that is passionate about their work.

The associate will manage a diverse caseload from inception to completion, working closely with a supervising shareholder. Industries include transportation, energy, environmental, construction, healthcare, maritime and more.

Must haves

• Florida Bar license, in good standing
• 5+ years civil/federal defense litigation and/or insurance coverage and defense
• Experience in court hearings, depositions, and mediation
• Trial experience preferred
• State and Federal litigation
• Ability to draft discovery and develop and a discovery plan
• Draft motions, settlement documents and briefs
